In Tollywood, film-maker Siva directed “Souryam”, “Sankam”, “Daruvu” and in Kollywood he directed Siruthai with Karthi and Veeram with Ajith. Now the director has got another chance to work with Ajith in his next venture, after Ajith’s Yennai Arindhaal.

The movie “Veeram” was produced by Vijaya Production and it is reported that A.M.Rathnam would be producing for Ajith’s upcoming movie venture as well. In this movie Shruti Hassan is reported to be playing the female lead. Ajith’s Ambal, Yennai Arindhaal title has professed at the time of releasing the venture. In the meantime Siva’s Veeram title was announced in the beginning, even for this upcoming film the title is more likely to be declared on the time of shoot.

There on director Siva has decided the title for the new venture as Achamillai for this even Ajith has given a nod and now we are awaiting for the official announcement to be made.

Siddharth's upcoming offering Enakkul Oruvan, the remake of the hit Kannada film, Lucia, has been cleared with a 'U' certificate. The film has Siddharth and Deepa Sannidhi in the lead and we hear that Siddharth will portray two looks in it. The film is psychological thriller directed by Prasad Ramar. Music for the film is by SanthoshNarayanan.

Director Mani Rathnam's forthcoming movie titled O Kadhal Kanmani songs are all set to release on february 2015. Okay Kanmani is an upcoming billingual romantic drama film made in tamil and malayalam languages, co-written and directed by mani ratnam.

The film features Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menen in the leading roles, while A R Rahman composes the film's music. P. C. Sreeram enrolled as Cinematography of this film O Kadhal Kanmani.

A R Rahman has composed the original soundtrack and score for the movie. A.R. Ameen son of A R Rahman is also singing in this album for the first time after hollywood film couples retreat. The film's soundtrack album is expected to be released on first week of february.

 As per latest source, the shooting of O Kadhal Kanmani to end beginning month of 2015 and movie expected to release on summer 2015. So fans of mani ratnam and AR Rahman eagarly waiting for yet another magical music from this evergreen duo.

Dulquer Salmaan fans' long wait is finally over as the much-awaited teaser of Mani Ratnam's upcoming movie, "OK Kanmani", has been released. After the teaser
showed the mood of the movie, fans are eagerly waiting for the release of the flick.

The teaser, which is ensemble with the pacey and energetic music of AR Rahman, gave a glimpse of the lead actor. The 19-second video showed the lead actors and the location at which the movie is set.

Lead actors, Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menen, are seen enjoying a motorcycle ride on Mumbai roads. At the end of the teaser, the makers announced that the fans will be provided with more details about "OK Kanmani" with the release of its trailer on 1 March.

The video has created the same excitement among viewers as Mani Ratnam's blockbuster "Alaipayuthey" had done. With AR Rahman teaming up with Mani Ratnam, the audience is expecting another blockbuster.

The release date of the much-awaited Udhayanidhi Stalin and Nayanthara starrer "Nannbenda" has been announced. The film, directed by Jagadesh, is touted as a romantic-comedy entertainer.

The film will be released on 2 April.

"#Nannbenda releasing worldwide on April 2nd!," tweeted Udhaynidhi.

The film's trailer, which was released earlier, received good audience reception and saw the lead actors Udhayanidhi, Nayanthara and Santhanam at the best of their wits. The trailer assured viewers that the movie will be a laughter riot.

For the second time, Udhaynidhi and Nayanthara will be seen together. They had earlier worked in "Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal", which got mixed response from the audience and critics.

With the release of his latest film, Udhayanidhi is expecting his first hit this year.

Nayanthara has a series of films in her hand as of now, which includes Tamil movies "Maya" along with Aari, "Idhu Namma Aalu" opposite Simbu, "Masss" opposite Suriya, "Thani Oruvan" opposite Jayam Ravi and Malayalam movie 'Bhaskar the Rascal" opposite Mammootty. The actress has also signed "Naanum Rowdy Dhaan"along with Vijay Sethupathy.

The film had made headlines when the makers approached Nazriya to play the female lead role but the actress turned down the offer. There were reports that Kajal Aggrawal also was approached, but finally the movie's team decided on Nayanthara. 

The music of "Nannbenda" composed by Harris Jayaraj was also released recently and the songs got overwhelming response from the audience.

The cinematography of the movie is done by Balasubramaniem and the editing is done by Vivek Harshan.

The film is being produced by Udhayanidhi's Red Giant Movies.

Playing a cop is an important step in the career of any aspiring mass hero and with Kaaki Sattai, Sivakarthikeyan ticks this box. The actor has already endeared himself to the masses with his first class comedy timing, boy next door image and energetic screen presence. In Kaaki Sattai, Siva sports the police uniform and looks pretty fit as a constable with positive intent.

In the movie, it is the comedy element which takes prominence. The likes of Imman Annachi, Mayilsamy and Siva himself keep churning out the laughs and the popular Harahara Mahadevaki gig is a major spike in the proceedings. In the second half, when Mano Bala enters the scene, the film meanders a little. The comedy portions also seem extended more than needed.  

Though the villain starts strong, he gets cliched towards the end. We have a few interesting investigative scenes, some pawns being eliminated along the way and the final showdown with the hero. We don't get immersed, as intended.

The placement of the songs leaves a lot to be desired. 3 numbers come in quick succession in the first half and we have the quintessential 'kuthu' number before the climax kicks in. Though visually rich and pleasing thanks to DoP Sukumar and featuring good dance moves, the songs give the audience more than the required breather.

Among the other actors, Prabhu's majestic screen presence, Sridivya's glossy appearance in the songs and Vijay Raaz's understated style make a mark. Manobala and Vidyullekha Raman continue to be typecast.

Anirudh has done his part with the songs which are already quite popular, and the background score is surely a backbone. The required impetus is given to the heroic moments, the sentimental sojourns and the investigative scenes, by the youngster's score.

We start feeling the run time of the film when it doesn't race to a convincing end. The director Durai has eyed a proper star vehicle for Sivakarthikeyan banking on the actor's inherent comedic abilities while also giving him the push and required build-up as an action hero. Siva is earnest, dances very well, has the screen presence, puts in lot into the stunts and breezes through the comedy scenes as usual. Though you don't feel bored, a more serious handling of the central theme could have helped the film better.

Actor Karthi has told that he will be rejoicing the fans with some Pongal Treat and said the First Look Trailer of Komban movie has been out.

The makers of movie have planned to release the movie for Pongal, but due to some reasons the release of the film has got postponed. Komban is a village-based mass action flick directed by Muthaiyah of Kutti Puli fame.
